I took advantage of the holiday season to update our website again. For a few days now, our site has been running on the latest version 3.5 of the Joomla content management system (CMS). The underlying components, such as our blog system, have also been updated. These updates serve to improve the site's functionality and security.
In addition to this work, which is directly visible to patients who visit our website, all of our practice's software also requires regular maintenance. Extensive updates for our practice management, document management, and X-ray software are released almost monthly.
This work usually goes unnoticed by patients during the holiday season or on weekends and requires a significant amount of time. However, it is essential to keep our indispensable computer system running.
